A Florida Beach Wedding at The Seagate | Connor + Ally

There’s something about a wedding by the ocean that just hits different—especially when it’s at The Seagate in Delray Beach. Ally and Connor’s day was a perfect mix of classic, coastal, and laid-back, and I’m so glad I got to be the one to capture it all.

I first met these two last summer for their engagement session (included with all of my wedding packages, by the way—because getting comfortable in front of the camera ahead of time makes the wedding day feel so much smoother). From the start, they were easygoing, kind, and totally in sync with each other. So I knew their wedding day would be something special.

Getting Ready at The Seagate Hotel
The day started over at The Seagate Hotel in downtown Delray Beach. The girls got ready in one of the suites upstairs, with huge windows and a view of downtown Delray.  Ally looked stunning from the moment she slipped into her dress, surrounded by her bridesmaids who were hyping her up every step of the way.

Meanwhile, Connor and the guys were getting ready just a few doors down. One of my favorite things about shooting weddings at The Seagate is how seamless it is to bounce between the two spaces—no long drives, no stress, just an easy flow.

Ceremony at The Seagate Beach Club
From the hotel, we made our way over to The Seagate Beach Club, just across A1A. The ceremony took place right on the sand, with the Atlantic as the backdrop. It doesn’t get much better than that. The light was soft, the ocean breeze was doing its thing, and their guests watched them say “I do” with their toes in the sand.

Why I Love Weddings at The Seagate
If you're planning a wedding in South Florida and want that mix of upscale and coastal, The Seagate delivers. Between the hotel’s modern interiors and the beach club’s oceanfront views, it’s the kind of venue that feels like a getaway without ever leaving town. And from a photography standpoint, the light is always incredible—especially for golden hour portraits on the beach.

I’m based up in Jupiter, but I shoot weddings all over South Florida—and The Seagate is one of those spots I’ll always be excited to return to.

Ally and Connor, thank you for trusting me to capture such a big part of your story. Your day was beautiful, effortless, and full of the kind of moments I love to document.
